If you're still at home or at the airport
If you haven't submitted your TDAC yet and you're still on the ground, submit it now. The official system accepts submissions up to 3 days before arrival, right up until you land — so as long as you have wifi or mobile data, you can still complete it in the departure lounge or even during a layover.
If time is genuinely tight and you'd rather not risk a rushed submission with typos, this is exactly the situation TDAC Assist's faster processing options exist for — send us your details and we'll get it submitted while you're travelling. Start here.
If you've already landed without one
Arriving without a submitted TDAC isn't the same as arriving without a visa, but it does mean extra time at immigration. In practice, most airports have a way to complete the declaration on the spot — some have kiosks or staff who'll direct you to do it on your phone before you reach the counter. Expect a longer queue, not a refused entry, in the vast majority of cases.
What you should not do is assume it doesn't matter and try to skip it — immigration officers are checking for it, and having to fill it out under pressure at the counter, with a queue behind you, is a worse experience than doing it calmly beforehand.
How to avoid this next time
- Submit as soon as the window opens — 3 days before your arrival date, not the morning of your flight.
- Keep a screenshot or PDF of your confirmation somewhere you can access offline (some travellers get caught out by no signal at the airport).
- If your travel dates change, double check whether you need to resubmit — a new arrival date can affect your submission window.
A calmer way to handle it
If paperwork like this tends to slip through the cracks when you're busy packing, TDAC Assist can take care of it end-to-end: you send the basics, we fill in and submit the actual form, double-checked before it goes in. It's a paid, independent service — not a government requirement — for travellers who'd rather have one less thing to remember. See how it works.
