Filling out the TDAC is straightforward once you're in the system — most delays come from not having the right information on hand before you start. Here's what to gather first.
1. Passport details
- Full name exactly as printed on your passport
- Passport number
- Nationality and passport issuing country
- Date of birth
Have your physical passport next to you rather than relying on memory — a single mistyped digit on your passport number is one of the most common reasons an entry gets flagged for a second look.
2. Trip details
- Arrival date in Thailand
- Flight number (or transport details if arriving by land or sea)
- Mode of travel: air, land, or sea
- Departure details, if you have them booked already
3. Accommodation in Thailand
This is the field that trips up the most people. You'll need the actual address of where you're staying on your first night — province, district, sub-district, and postal code. If you booked through a hotel site, this is usually on your booking confirmation email; if you're staying with friends or on a longer trip with multiple stops, use your first confirmed address.
4. Health declaration
A short section on countries you've visited recently. Keep a rough list of where you've travelled in the prior weeks — you won't need exact dates, just the countries.
Before you submit
- Double-check the arrival date matches your actual flight, not the date you're filling out the form.
- Re-read your passport number once more — it's the single field worth the extra ten seconds.
- Save your confirmation (screenshot or downloaded PDF) somewhere you can access without wifi.
